My problem with Death Battle

Spoilers blow for various Death Battles.

This line of topic came about with the Superman vs Goku rematch. First off I said rematch. Superman and Goku already had a fight two years ago where Goku lost. A lot of people were very angry at this, so the crew of Death Battle made a rematch with the new powers and abilities both Superman and Goku have gotten in most resent years. So here we are. Goku has given a second chance to prove he is the best AAAANNNNNDDDD... he looses again.  Now Goku's loss is not my problem. My problem is all of the back lashes given to this result by fans. It really makes me have to ask, why do you care so much?

I get it to an extant. Goku was one of your favorite characters, and he lost in this fight. If Luffy were in one of these battles and lost I would be upset two, but really, why do you get so angry about it? Despite Wizard saying at the start of the videos "Let's settle this debate once and for all" this video is not the definitive answer to the question. At the end of the day Goku vs Superman 1 and 2 are just another fan video no different then a guy sitting in front of a webcam telling you why Goku would win based off of a single panel of the manga he just read.

The way I see it Death Battle is just an essay with some cool visuals. They start by introducing the premise, give some information, make a claim and then back up that claim in the rap-up. In the battle of Goku vs Superman Wiz and Boomstick have said they believe Superman would win, and then they back up their reasoning for it. If you disagree with that reasoning even after the video then you can. That is completely in your right, and you are free to make a video about it saying why you think the opposite is true. But let's keep this as what it should be, a conversation. Getting angry at this one video doesn't prove your point. Anyone watching your video who doesn't agree with you right away won't see someone with a counter argument. They will see a fan who was butt-hurt at a character death in a fan fiction.

So at the end of the day let's all just sit back and enjoy Death Battle for what it is. A fun slug fest with our favorite characters.
