These are the three new Pokemon introduced yesterday. I thought I'd give my thoughts on them quickly. Sorry this isn't being more detailed, but I've been spending most of my time planning a trip, and working a future detailed post.
I don't know why but I love Yungoos. Will I catch it? Oh hell yes. Will I use it on my team? Probably not. I've like the early normal types more then most, but not enough to give it a spot on my team.
I am not a fan of the early bug type. The only time this has not been the case was with Scolipied and Leavanny. I love those two. While I won't know until it evolves, I don't like Grubbin on first impression. It seems like it will evolve into an electric type. I can honestly say I'm not really a fan of the idea, but that's probably because I like joltik to much.
I will be getting Pikipek. I love getting the regional bird my first play through of a game. When I don't know what I'll be getting in the long run, the bird is always a nice flyer to have on. I'm also big on the water starters, so having something to deal with grass types is nice. Don't know how good it will be if I end up with Litten, but I'll at least have a way around fighting types.

Day 15: The Sense of Adventure
A friend of mine and I were talking about various D&D campaigns that we wanted to run. We through out some cool ideas, but my favorite was one of his. It was the idea that the campaign would take place in a young world. This world is so young that ruins don't scatter the land. A lot of the creatures that are of magical origins (as in creature races that were created by wizards) have not come around let. I then told him that if I was a character in that game I'd pick a direction, and I'd just sail in that direction until I found land. From there I'd try to start a settlement. He and I loved this idea. I just love the idea of exploring the open world and making it your own. That's one of the reasons why I'm so looking forward to Breath of the Wild.
I've never been that interested in Zelda, but this is the first one in the series that really caught my eye. I know nothing about this aside from the game play trailer, and just from that I'm interested. It is such a beautiful world that I just want to run around and see all that I can. It was that same mentality that caused me to by Xenoblade X. I just wanted to explore Mira, and now I want to explore Hyrule.

Day 11: Log Horizon Review
I've spent about two hours writing and rewriting the opening paragraph of this review. I kept trying open it up by talking about the similar, but more popular show Sword Art Online. At the end of the day I've decided that I really don't like that idea. This show deserves to stand on it's own, and shouldn't be compared to another show to validity it. Log Horizon is a very good show. It really is my second favorite anime of all time, and I feel it is like that even without SAO this show should still be praised. However one of the major aspect of the show are at their best only when they are compared to shows like Sword Art Online and .Hack, so I will be comparing the show to other in only one aspect, but we'll get there. For now welcome to a review of Log Horizon.

Cross Out
I really regret doing this week. As it turned out I only had two nuzlockes to talk about. Now I'm in a car with back pains with only a few hours to write this. Let this be for future me. When you decide to do something PLAN IT OUT! So I'm just going to get right into today's comic. This is Cross Out.

Fire Red: Hard Mode
Pokemon games are easy assuming the player has played RPGs before( I got a friend of mine to try pokemon for the first time and she had a lot of trouble with it). Because of this fact, some Pokemon fans do self imposed challenges as they beat the game. One of the most famous examples of this was when someone going by the screen name Nuzlocke made some added rules for his play through of Pokemon Ruby. The rules were that he could only catch the first Pokemon he found on a rout( if he fails to catch it then no Pokemon for him), and if a Pokemon faints then that Pokemon is dead and must be released. Nuzlocke made a webcomic chronicling his adventures. Today we will be looking at his squeal series when he used the same rules for Pokemon Fire Red.

The GaMERCaT
The best kind of parody is one made of love, not hate. When it's made out of hate most of the jokes boil down to 'this is stupid', but win
it's made out of loves the writing changes. The writer has an understanding of the property. Any jabs at the property are more akin to a cousin teasing you about something stupid you did back in grad school. The GaMERCaT is one such webcomic.

Isn't the song that's played in Castelia City Gym cool?
In the various gyms throughout Unova you would get a remix of the gym theme in each gym to fit the theme of the gym. Instead of talking about them all I'm just going to make a quick post about the one I'm listening to now. With Black and White 2 the Castelia gym got a redesign from honey to silk. When I first played through the game it gave me the creeps and the slow music was a big part of it. Now that I'm listening to the music away from the game, I still feel unsettled but I also has a strange calmness to it. But I don't study music so it might be best for you to hear the music yourself here.

Fucking tutorial!
There are a lot of different games to play with your buddies. Mario Party, Mario Cart, and Halo to name a few. A game people don't tend to mention as much is Fire Emblem. In theory Fire Emblem could work well. You have a game that, to do well in, you need to focus on an entire battle field. So having two friends coming up with the plans could help win with less character death. That's what my friend David and I thought when we wanted to hang out and play some video games.
Now, the copy of the game was David's but he had not played the game in a really long time while I had never even played anything from the Fire Emblem series. Because of this we decided to have the tutorials on. And this is were the title comes.
There were so many tutorials in the few levels we played through. While the two player idea did work well all the tutorials were just insufferable for two guys that just wanted to have fun. With that said, I have now played through some Fire Emblem games on my own time with the tutorials on to learn how to play the game, and they do help for new players.
So the moral of the story here is that if your going to play Fire Emblem as a group then be positive that everyone in your group has a basic idea of the game before you play.

Don't worry game. I'll voice act for you.
I got into the Ace Attorney series from PrinceBoo21's Let's Plays of the first three games. He provided voice acting for the characters because the game had none. When the time came for me to play my first ace attorney game, Apollo Justice, the game itself did not have voice acting and with no Prince Boo I just started voice acting myself. Apollo was my normal speaking, Trucy was a higher pitch of my normal voice, ect. But the weird thing about it was I didn't really relies it was happening. I just did it, but the strangeness of it does not stop there.
When I downloaded Dual Destinies I started playing it instantly and I started voice acting it again even thought the game had voice acting, all be it very little. I noticed this time when my mom asked who I was talking to in the living room. Even after I became aware of my voice over I still spoke all the characters dialogue out loud. The most humorous part of it being the fact that I gave Detective Fullbright a high-pitch nasally voice when he really had a normal, if some what deep, voice.
And then came Professor Layton vs Phoenix Wright. As you may have suspected I started doing voice work in this game as well, but ONLY in the court cases (of which I've done two so no spoilers). It's just something about the Ace Attorney style that makes me want to read it aloud. It's strange what some games can make you feel like doing.
